2011 Meat Buyer’s Club Information Packet Today there is a growing demand for naturally raised meat because many people are beginning to realize; that mass-produced meat is inhumanely handled, and fed a bad diet which affects the health of those who consume it. Raising meat naturally is better for the livestock, better for the environment, and better for the consumer. Our family does not believe in feed-lots or industrialized slaughterhouses. Our animals live happy, clean lives with plenty of green grass grown in untreated pastures, clean water, abundant shade, sunshine, and have plenty of room to roam as they please. 2011 will be the first year that we are offering a Meat Buyer's Club at our farm. We view this as a great way to build a closer relationship between us, the producers, and you, the consumers. Removing the middleman gives you a closer look at where your meat comes from, how it is handled and raised before it reaches your dinner plate. This is also a great way to explore serving new cuts of some of your favorite meats and trying something that may be new to you, like our pasture raised lamb. This program differs from our Meat Plan as it will run more like a Co-Op. You purchase a membership fee into our farm for the entire year and come and get what you want, when you want it. What You Get:
What to Expect: For each member that signs up for our Meat Buyer’s Club; our farm will donate $10.00 to protect Farm Animals across the United States. We are proud supporters of the Humane Farming Association and truly believe that they are making great efforts to help protect the mistreated factory-farmed animals across the country. We take great pride in treating our workers, our livestock, and our environment with great respect and we are looking forward to you and your family sharing it with us as well.
